Legislation introduced in November 2021 states that any person wishing to become an LGV driver that holds a full car (Category B) driving licence must:

– Be 18 years of age
– Have a medical checkup
– Apply to Swansea for a Provisional Licence
– Take and pass the relevant Computer Tests
– Does not need to pass a Driving Test in a Rigid Vehicle (LGV Category C) before sitting the Articulated Vehicle (LGV Category C and E) Driving Test
